Our life this week

This week has flown by so quickly. There are so many things that I would like to get done and I am finding that I am not getting to about half of them!
The boys are growing up so quickly! Sebastian is now 5 and loving school. Oliver is a "big boy now that he goes to kinder all by himself" and Caleb is almost walking. I think I have been saying that for about three months now, but that is because he has been on the edge of walking for about three months now! Having said that, I honestly think that he will walk any day now. His confidence is building and you can see him really consider whether or not he is going to take that first step. A few times it has looked as though he was going to step out but then thought better of it at the last moment and so dropped to his bottom. It will happen eventually, and, although it may sound otherwise, I am not rushing to see him walk because then that is one more "last" thing that will happen.
Why is it that life is constantly full of "firsts" and "lasts"? hmm, that thought sounds as though it could lead to a rather deep train of thought so I think I will stop before I start.
Rob secured some more work this week and has a few more leads for work to follow up next week so that is good. God is so good!
Next week, Oliver gets to take a teddy bear to kinder. He is rather excited at the prospect, so much so that he tried to take the teddy bear a whole week early.
Sebastian and Oliver are currently playing "fireman, fireman, doctor, doctor, we go on the water" while I type this. They are constantly playing pretending games at the moment. Many times the games involve firemen and fighting fires using the garden hose outside (not plugged in of course). The current bushfire news seems to really encourage these games, but much of it stems from Sebastian's desire to be a firefighter when he grows up. It is really nice to see them playing so well together... can these days continue forever??!!
Well, I should probably go now. It is lunchtime now and I really slept in this morning... I have been on the computer since I got up, replying to facebook messages and updating this blog. Poor Rob has been cleaning the house by himself (not an easy job today as we have allowed the house to explode internally this week!!).
Grace and Peace be with you this week.
